(May 10th 11am-1pm) Getting Wild with Self Portraiture!- Acrylic Painting Class for Teens 13-17
Portrait painting is an amazing way to learn about and understand people. And who is more important to understand than yourself?
In this class, we’ll not only delve into the fundamentals of portraiture, but we’ll learn about how are artistic choices define us even more than what we look like. The colors we choose, the marks we make- all of these express the way we think and feel.
At the end of this session, your teen will have a completed (or close-to completed) work on canvas: a wild and dynamic self-portrait that uses ever artistic tool at our disposal to depict our inner selves just as much as our outer selves.
Materials are provided- just bring yourself and your creativity. Students must be between the ages of 13 and 17 at time of class.
